Meet Elizabeth

Hi! I'm Elizabeth, owner and operator of Cakes by Elizabeth.

My baking journey began when I was very young. From the time I was old enough to stir, I was in the kitchen helping my mother and both grandmothers bake. I always looked forward to Thanksgiving & Christmas because I knew that meant we would all spend time together in the kitchen baking. I always loved the excitement desserts seemed to bring to any get-together. As I got older, I never stopped baking.

After being encouraged for a few years by family members to start selling my cakes on the side, I decided to give it a try in December of 2018. My original plan was to sell for the holidays to bring in a little bit of extra Christmas money.  I received an overwhelming response and decided to continue selling my cakes even after the holidays.

I am self-taught in cake decorating and I love trying new things. I thrive on creating desserts that are as original and creative as they are delicious. 

​

Please know that I truly appreciated every order that is placed. Thank you so much for putting your faith in me to make your event a little more special. Also know that each time you open that bakery box with my name on it, so much time, thought, and attention to detail has gone into your dessert.
